Surrounded by the green lower hills of the Appennines between Romagna and Tuscany, Agriturismo Campo Rosso is an ideal place to unwind and restore from the hustle and routine of daily life. Enjoy a much slower and gentle pace of life while exploring the surroundings on foot, by bike or on horseback!
Our everyday meals are prepared with fresh locally grown organic food and cooked according to local traditional recipes bringing out old-fashioned flavors which are passed down from generation to generation.
The farm is 8 acres and is bounded by the woods on the west side and by Suasia Creek on the east side. Along the path by the creek you will find a nice area with tables and chairs to rest and cool off on hot summer days. A nearby dirt path in the woods will take you upriver through a large number of different local plants, reaching a beautiful cherry orchard, which is an ideal place for a picnic.
We have a garden where we grow our own vegetable and fruit. We also have a field where we grow our own hay or cereal crops in rotation, and a vineyard site of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes.
Our farmstay has 9 rooms equipped with 2 or 4 beds, all of them coming with a private ensuite bathroom. Some bedrooms have been recently painted and decorated by local artists, while the dining room is featured with natural stone walls belonging to the old stable walls on which traditional farming tools are nowadays hung and exposed.
We are open from April through October including the Christmas and New Year period. Guests wishing to stay overnight or to eat at our farmstay are kindly requested to make their reservation in advance.
During your stay you will have the opportunity to join a wide variety of activities including cooking classes, horse riding classes, language events, hiking and horse riding tours, wine tasting events and public observing nights.
